Collection: Gustave Collection

The Gustave Collection is a tribute to the Belgian painter Gustave van de Woestyne (1881-1947), whose artistic journey was nurtured and championed by the visionary collectors Alice and David van Buuren. When they conceived their home, they entrusted him with a series of still lifes destined for their extraordinary Art Deco dining room — a space where art, design, and daily life converge in harmony.

From this singular interior, we drew our inspiration: the strength of its geometric lines, the subtle vibrancy of the Maurice Dufrêne carpet, and the gentle luminosity of the pale wood furnishings. These elements intertwine to shape a collection that translates space into ornament.

The inaugural piece is an adjustable cuff bracelet, adorned with a finely enameled square cradling a natural gemstone at its heart — Peruvian Amazonite. Its shifting tones of green, white, and turquoise mirror the lush garden glimpsed through the grand dining room window, as though capturing a fragment of landscape in precious form.
